Domaine L’Ostal Cazes
IGP Pays d’Oc
A fresh and elegant white wine
L'Ostal Cazes White endeavours to produce wines that are centred on fruit, purity, freshness and elegance whilst preserving the distinct character of wines from the South of France.
It holds the designation IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) Pays d'Oc, and is made primarily from Viognier (85%), complemented by Marsanne (10%) and Roussanne (5%). The wine is barrel-aged.
Complex nose with notes of anise
Clear, bright and pale in hue with subtle green tinges. The complex nose offers aromas of pear, aniseed and fruit jellies. A few swirls in the glass bring out notes of melon jam.
On the palate, the attack is supple and extremely fresh. A touch of acidity balances out the richness of the wine and lends it its finesse and elegance.
The silver disc on the label represents a lunar eclipse and completes the range perfectly.
