Château Cordeillan-Bages, Pauillac
A pretty 18th-century “chartreuse” house, Cordeillan-Bages is a captivating hotel restaurant, in the Relais & Châteaux category. A stopping place, but also a winery producing a unique, powerful and racy wine, worthy of the great Pauillacs.
At the entrance to Pauillac, its two-hectare covers a fine gravel ridge. Its wine benefits from the same selection and vinification criteria as those used at Château Lynch-Bages.
Château Villa Bel-Air, Graves
The Villa Bel-Air estate is located at Saint Morillon, in the Graves wine-growing area. Bordeaux parliamentarian, Marquis Louis Dufaure de Lajarte, built a chartreuse house on this 32-hectare wine-growing estate. Two centuries later, Château Villa Bel-Air produces a tremendously fresh and elegant fine white wine. Château Bel-Air red wine displays the refined characteristics of the Graves and a balance reflecting the harmony of the encepagement.
Domaine L’Ostal Cazes, Minervois La Livinière
At the foot of the Montagne Noire, halfway between the medieval city of Carcassone and the old Roman port of Narbonne, the Domaine L'Ostal Cazes, in the Minervois la Livinière appellation, lies in a magnificent region, home to great terroirs. Domaine L'Ostal Cazes gets its name from the word "ostal" – from the ancient language of Oc –signifying both the family group and the house where they live. Clinging to the sunny slopes of the “Petit Causse”, the estate extends over 150 hectares, including 60 planted with vines and 25 with olive trees. The wines produced by the estate: Domaine L'Ostal Cazes - Grand Vin and Domaine L'Ostal Cazes – Estibals are the perfect embodiment of the richness and power of the local terroirs.
