The café-brasserie
in the village of Bages

In the centre of the village of Bages, the Café Lavinal opened in 2006 and owes its name to Berthe Lavinal, grandmother of Jean-Michel Cazes.

The ambience here is warm and friendly, with amazing objects brought back by Jean-Michel Cazes from his travels and other souvenirs of his grandchildren’s summers in Bages.
Adjacent to Château Lynch-Bages, it is a popular place for winemakers and locals wanting to catch up over a hearty meal or a glass of wine in authentic surroundings.

The Café Lavinal also serves breakfasts and teas, as well as providing a banqueting hall that can seat 40.
