Michel Lynch Réserve

AOC Médoc & Graves

A Celebration of the Bordeaux grape varieties

The Michel Lynch Réserve red and white wines are the result of blending the best of their appellations’ varieties.

Michel Lynch Réserve Red, AOC Médoc
The perfect partner for fine dining

A deep red colour with violet glints, black cherries and mocha on the nose, generous palate… This outstanding cuvée with its hint of woodiness is a blend of equal parts of the best of the Médoc’s Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in French oak barrels, it is a celebration of the fruit.

Served at 18°C,  Michel Lynch Médoc could happily partner scallops with truffles, monkfish kebab with baby vegetables or Chinese fondue with duck or red tuna.

Michel Lynch Réserve White, AOC Graves
Complexity and richness typical of the appellation

With its pale gold colour and green glints, Michel Lynch Graves delivers a nose of succulent flowers, white peaches and quince. Its unctuous palate with notes of tropical fruits and milk caramel expresses all the complexity and richness of Graves. The Sauvignon endows it with its freshness and the Semillon with its roundness and velvety smoothness. At 12°C, Michel Lynch Réserve Blanc goes perfectly with asparagus and mousseline sauce, seafood platters, liver quenelles, grilled shad with sorrel or a crusty smoked-cheese fondue.

Vintages

The mild and particularly rainy winter, followed by a wet spring, created a lot of concern but turned out to be a decisive advantage for this vintage! Once the mildew problems had been eliminated, the soft warmth at the end of June provided very favorable conditions for the vineyard’s development. Throughout the sunny summer, the vines had good reserves and has tapped into rich soil. The regular and early flowering, followed by a more spread veraison allowed a homogeneous harvest which took place in the last days of August. With idyllic sanitary conditions and intact fruit, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon produced balanced, fleshy and aromatic juices.
